Even Team Captain (Badminton): TBDODD VS EVEN:
RULES & FORMAT:1. Battle of 2 Teams (ODD vs EVEN). Each team can field players according to Categories and
Matching. (see below). Other games outside this scheme shall be deemed as exhibition games
and shall be coordinated with the CIC by Team Captains. Payments can also be paid
individually, or be done by the Team Captain.
2. All Doubles matches will be played first; singles matches maybe played if time allows.3. A match shall be best of 3 games. First and second games will be at 21 points, third
game (deciding game), if necessary, will be at 15 points. All 3 games will be sudden
death (NOT by consecutive 2 points).
4. Minimum Time for each match is 1 hour. (17 mins for each 21-point game, 15 mins for a 15-
point game, and 11 mins for rest and Admin).
5. Each match win will count as (1) point for the team. The team that has the highest team
points at the conclusion of the tournament will be declared as the WINNER.
6. With exception of the format stated above, rules as stated by the USA Badminton
Tournament Regulations shall be considered, particularly on Games officiating which are as
follows:
a) The Game Director is overall in charge of the tournament;
b) An Umpire is appointed for a match by the GD and shall report to, and act under, the
authority of the GD;
c) A Service Judge/Line Judges are normally appointed for a match by the GD and can be
replaced by the GD or the Umpire in consultation with each other;
d) If warranted, the Umpire can overrule the decision of the Line Judge.PLAYERS CATEGORIES & MATCHING:
1. For ex-cadets and legal dependents (grand children included). Both Team Captains shall
submit players in the order of play and categorized as follows:
a) Mix Senior and Regular doubles (AA 40) – 60 mins/1 Point;
b) Regular doubles – 60 mins/1 Point
c) Double Mix – 60 mins/1 Point
2. Singles Matches will be officially played if time allows and if tie breaker is needed, or else,
the game shall be declared as non-official. Both Team Captains shall submit SINGLES players
in the order of play and categorized as follows:
a) Singles Men – 60 mins/1 Point
b) Singles Women – 60 mins/1 Point
3. Team Captains can only field their players to play on the categories based on the registered
players’ list. Non-appearance of registered player/s on the court shall be deemed lost by
default. Teams may field their players on what they deem is the best combination based
on players’ skill levels in order for their team to win matches and win the tournament.4. A player will only play twice maximum (doubles) and one (1) singles match (maximum), if
singles matches will be played,depending on the availability of time. Both Singles games shall
be played to get at least 1 point each. If by chance only one Singles game was played, it shall
be ruled out as unofficial (in order to adhere to the best of 3 or best of 5 games point rules).
5. PRIZES;A) Winning Team gets Medals and Banners.
B) Points for Overall Championships (Odd vs Even)
EXIBITION GAMES:
This may not be under the Odd-Even Scheme but JC2024 shall recognize the winners with
appropriate awards. Payment should be submitted by the Team Captain to
the Games Committee. No payment before games start means NOT a member of the
team. Team Captains can facilitate match up games on the following:
a) Clash of the Classes;1. Separate registration from Odd vs Even. Registration fee is $5 each player.
2. Payment should be submitted by the Team Captain to the Games Committee
before D-Day. No payment before games start means NOT a member of the team.
3. For ex-cadets and legal dependents (grand children included).
4. Can be played on either Singles of Doubles Matches depending on availabletime. Knockout/Single elimination until the Over-all Champion is determined.
5. PRIZES;A) Winners gets Medals (1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd )
B) Points for CLASH OF THE CLASSES Overall Championships.b) Battle of PMA Chapters;

MISCELLANEOUS:
1. Both Team Captains/coaches are responsible for the warm up of their players before the
match.
2. Two minutes rest in between games.
3. Maximum of two Injury time out allowed for 2 minutes each.
4. Technical Officials from the Orlando Racket Sports facility will officiate the badminton
tournament. Necessary game materials (score sheets) and PAS will also be provided.
5. Players shall bring their own rackets, while shuttlecocks will be provided.
6. Food & beverages will not be provided.
7. Team Attire will not be included in the registration.
8. D-Day payment/registration until 11AM could be done to cater for Clash of Classes
and Battle of PMA Chapters.REQUIREMENTS:
1. Fund allocation- $220 (Player Registration- $180; Shuttlecock-$25 and miscellaneous
$15). Payment for the Game Officials is already included with the Pickle ball fund allocation.
2. Venue: Game Official/s. 3 Badminton Courts
3. Odd and Even Team Captains: Three (3) volunteer-representatives to act
as Umpires and Service Judge/Line Judges.
